Using mixed media, sculpture, videography, abstract, and digital art as tools to explore complex themes of identity, transformation, and human connection, henny’s playful, animated approach challenges traditional artistic boundaries. Known in her physical works for her abstract depictions of hands, eyes, and line/dot formations she fondly refers to as her “doodles” , henny hopes to inspire new conversations about what an “artist” is by pushing the limits of creative expression. In other mediums such as photography and videography, henny invites viewers to explore the intersection of technology and emotion.
Aside from creating physical and digital artwork, henny also splits her time delving into her never-ending list of passions. HENNY DREAM WORLD is the over-arching name of all of henny’s creative pursuits, and is an open-ended ambition of the artist. A lifelong creator and observer, henny began taking her creative pursuits seriously in 2023. She is heavily influenced by street art, music videos, fashion, design, maps, travel, architecture, every day life, emotions, observations of nonverbal communication, and the never-ending dance of human interaction.
